Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.

Welcome to the neighborhood!  As friendly as most churches hope to be, it still can be a little frightening visiting a church for the first time. Below are some questions you may be thinking.

  • Will everyone know what's going on but me?
  • Will my kids like it (and be well-cared for in a safe environment)?
  • Will they ask me for money?
  • How should I dress?

At the Neighborhood our purpose is quite simple – to love God and neighbor.  For Jesus this was what he felt was most important (see Mark 12:30-31).  Although we know we are far from perfect and, at times, have more questions than answers, our desire remains the same – to lead lives that are transformed by God and to make a difference in the neighborhoods in which we live.

We hope to see you at the Neighborhood soon!
